Compassion and Karma in Today’s World – Barbara Hebert

Sunday 8th December – 6pm UK Time

a zoom talk by Barbara Hebert

In a world fraught with divisiveness and conflict, we may ponder the value of compassion and its relationship to karma. This exploration will consider concepts of compassion from a spiritual perspective and link that conversation to concepts of karma. Specifically, we will investigate these two concepts from both a personal or microcosmic perspective as well as a universal or macrocosmic perspective.

Barbara Hebert is past president of the Theosophical Society in America. She is currently involved as a volunteer with the American section. A mental health provider for many years, Hebert typically explores theosophical content from a practical perspective. She continues to provide programs both nationally and internationally for the Theosophical Society.
